We have been very busy reviving the soul of this old farmer’s mansion to offer you extraordinary holidays.
Located in the heart of the Cathar Country, between Toulouse and Carcassonne, and near the Canal du Midi, we welcome you for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a homelike atmosphere .
Over the years, we’ve been able to grow our experience extensively, allowing us to guarantee you an exceptional stay in the Aude.

In the middle of the Cathar Country and right next to Carcassonne, we offer you the opportunity to come and discover this exceptional area with all its calm and enjoy a relaxing stay.
In days long gone by, Domaine Saint-Joly was a property made up of an impressive farmer’s mansion surrounded by several outbuildings.
The whole is tucked away amidst a gorgeous 4 ha park with ancient trees, surrounded only by fields. But if you think you’re at “the end of the world”, you’re mistaking….
Castelnaudary (worldwide capital of the cassoulet) and Carcassonne (UNESCO world heritage – medieval town) are only at a stone’s throw away.
Charming cities all around are inviting you for a visit: Revel, Mirepoix, Fanjeaux, Limoux,… ! We will be happy to tell you all about it as soon as you get here!
We invite you to come and discover this beautiful part of the world with us. Our only goal is for you to forget all stress and worries of everyday life as soon as you arrive.
Our renovations bring the house back to life in all its former glory and offer a magnificent blend of old elements with modern decorations and comfortable rooms.
We offer you very spacious rooms, each with its own bathroom.
In addition, you will find in each room some interesting philosophies on everyday life…
Each morning, we have breakfast together and in the evening you can join us for a dinner prepared with local products.

Let’s not forget the region, with its astonishing variety of recreational options . For starters there’s its very rich culture related to the history of the Cathars and its various castles and abbeys.

Accessibility
- Carcassonne airport is only half an hour’s drive away from us and offers direct Ryanair flights from most major cities in the UK and Ireland. Alternatively, you can also fly to Toulouse, which has a major airport at Blagnac. You can rent a car or we can come and pick you up.
- Departing from the Calais Chunnel terminal eg., you’ll reach us after approximatively 10 driving hours (1.100 kms). We will send you a detailed itinerary upon reservation. GPS coordinates are: N 43° 7’ 6,234” – E 2° 3’ 56,574”.
- Railway is yet another way to reach us. You can take the HST up to Toulouse or Narbonne. A somewhat slower connection then allows you to reach Castelnaudary (10 minutes from our house). There too, we can come and pick you up.
